Reliable supply without a grid connection Sites that are far from the utility grid, such as mountain huts, have until recently needed a diesel generator or combined heat and power unit to obtain a continuous power supply. Although these technologies can be procured relatively cheaply, their maintenance and operating costs are higher.
Commonly, the cooling of these power supply components is done using strategies such as cooling with air, cooling with liquid, cooling with phase change, and edge cooling, and each of these cooling strategies has its own advantages and disadvantages [ 144, 169, 174, 175 ].
